To deliver comprehensive, quality healthcare in an efficient and cost effective manner to the people of the  community.   As a member of the Healthcare team, and lead by the Chief Medical Officer, the Physician’s role is vital to the successful completion of the above stated goal.

Responsibilities

Please join our FQHC family in providing quality comprehensive health services to an underserved population. As providers of care that is oriented towards the patients, family, and community, all physicians (Internist, Pediatricians, Obstetrician/Gynecologist, General Medicine, or Family Medicine) will adhere to the mission, vision, role, values, goals, objectives, and procedures as defined in the Administrative and Operations Policy and Procedure Manual of the Jewish Renaissance Medical Center.

Qualifications

  1. Provide and coordinate all aspects of patient care as defined by their specialty, including: responsibility for proper maintenance of the medical record (i.e. charting); problem follow-up; and arranging for and coordinating specialty consultations.
  2. Share responsibility with other JRMC providers (as designated by the Chief Medical Officer) for the following:
  3. Development, maintenance, and provision of a light after-hours telephone coverage system.
  4. Maintenance of the problem-oriented record keeping system to be used jointly with nurse practitioners, social workers, nutritionists, and other health care providers.
  5. Maintenance and utilization of an electronic medical record.
  6. Enthusiastic involvement in community activities (as part of the work week), as designated by the Chief Medical Officer.  Such activities might include health fairs, presentations of health subjects at community facilities, etc.
  7. Physicians at the JRMC will have overall responsibility for the provision and coordination of patient care as defined by their specialty (i.e., Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, and Family Medicine). This includes:
  8. Provision of health maintenance services.
  9. Diagnosis and management of disease.
  10. Arranging for and coordinating specialty consultations.
  11. The physician will perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer.
