    The Jewish Renaissance Medical Center is one of 21 Federally Qualified Health Centers in the state of NJ. Our mission is to provide primary and preventative care to patients regardless of ability to pay, race, ethnicity, and cultural competence. In the last 10 years, the JRMC has been able to expand to over 6 locations in the Middlesex and Essex County areas and provide services to our patients in specialties such as Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, as well as Dental care.  By joining and being a member of our team, you will be able to give great care to patients as well as work in a great environment.

    Responsibilities

    The Jewish Renaissance Medical Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center looking to hire a full time Family Practice Nurse Practitioner. Established in the year 2002, the JRMC has a main location in Perth Amboy, NJ as well as 7 School Based Health Centers located in Newark, NJ. Duties for this position include:

     

    1.Provide and coordinate all aspects of patient care as defined by their specialty,  responsibility for proper maintenance of the medical record (i.e. charting); problem follow-up; and arranging for and coordinating specialty consultations.

    2.Maintenance of the problem-oriented record keeping system to be used jointly with nurse practitioners, social workers, nutritionists, and other health care providers.

    3.Maintenance and utilization of a comprehensive database.

    4.Provision and coordination of patient care as defined by their specialty (i.e., Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Medicine).

          This includes:1.Provision of health maintenance services.

                                2.Diagnosis and management of disease

     

     

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    1.New Jersey State License

    2.NJ Controlled Dangerous Substance

    3.NJ DEA

    4.CPR, PALS,

    5.Board Eligibility or Certification

    6.Orientation toward primary care delivery

    7.Previous work experience in a comprehensive health care setting.
